Very Good Estate Fresh and As Found Condition - Nice Cosmetic Condition but Untested.The Big Hat porcelain shade is in real nice shape ， has a couple of minor spots of wear / loss to the porcelain but its super clean and the spots are small and not very noticable at all. The reflector is in good used condition - it has surface oxidation on the back but still in very good used condition. View each and every pic - make your own assessments.

I have up for sale a very nice vintage original dated 10 / 58 Coleman 228E "Big Hat" Lantern . It comes with a reflector ， no markings but it came with the lantern when I purchased it years back from the original owner. Not sure if its a Coleman or just an aftermarket but it does the job. The lantern is in very good original condition - has some use indications - a few scratches and some rust in the area of the inner basin ring for the filling cap. View the pics ， I hide nothing . Its being sold As Is - meaning its Untested . The lantern stands approx 15" tall to the top ， the shade is porcelain and measures approx 8-3/4" diameter， it weighs approx 5.5 lbs including the reflector . Please view each and every pic ， ask for more if needed - do so prior to purchase. Ask all questions prior to purchase and simply be a responsible buyer . I have provided lots of information and nice pics . ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED -CONTACT ME ASAP - KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM. YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING ，PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX ， AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. WITHOUT THESE PICS， YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE.
