It appears to be unworn， if it was worn it was only a handful of times.Leather sweatband is completely and securely attached and the leather remains soft and pliable.The liner is securely attached， not falling down and with minor stains. There are NO moth bites anywhere! The hat box has its original insert set. Box is very worthy of storing and displaying. Minor wear. You can see the 1st picture has the hat box， the top has a couple small dings but still a great box， see picture. The grosgrain ribbon has a bit of soiling but nothing terrible. Another one of dad's excellent late 1950s or early 1960s Champ Whippet Clone fedora with that beautiful wide bound brim edge. Fedora， Beaver Ten size 7-1/4.This needed very minor work when removed from the box! Dad cleaned (horsehair brush) & Steamed that perfect shape into this hat. That great pinched crown is set in there as is that teardrop crown. It was not just pushed in for the picture. The drop in the front is perfect too. We don’t know why it doesn’t come out consistently in all the pictures? But it’s a medium brown color and the best representation is the picture of the whole underside. We took out dads collection of 1950s Stetson beaver hats: 3X， Ten， Fifteen， Twenty and TwentyFive. This best matches the Beaver Ten. It’s very soft and thick and so easy to work with! If you don’t want the hat box please write to us and we will adjust the shipping to $18.20. We always try and recommend using the hat box as storage. It’s the very best way to keep the hat is excellent condition and also it’s a beautiful display piece. This is tagged 7-1/4. We actually measure the hat 3 times to determine the size， tagged or not， and it is and to a perfect 7-1/4 at 22-3/4 inches or 58 which agrees with the Tilley Hat Sizing chart. This is a size 7-1/4 or 22-3/4 inches or 58 Length 12-1/8 inches Width 10-7/8 inches Height 4.75 inches， at the tallest point Matching Brown Grosgrain Ribbon 1-3/4 inches Brim 2-1/8 inches Coat trolley string， it’s secured to the hat and functions perfectly， just a bit loose If you have any question please write. Dad seems to know quite a bit about this hat. It was one he bought and just stored away， like so many others.
