【FATE】
ギリシャ神話における一説。｢運命の糸をKLOTHOが紡ぎ、LAKHESISがそれを人間に割り当て、ATROPOSがこの糸を切った。｣
「FATE」とは英語で運命という意味。 デザイナーが運命を感じたヴィンテージフレームを独自の解釈によって再構築されるデザインは、繊細かつミニマムなラインと、どこか懐かしさを感じさせるフォルムと色彩で、ファッションとの相性も良く、更に福井県鯖江市の職人による丁寧な工程により洗練された仕上がりになっています。
エンドユーザーと「FATE」との間に運命を感じてもらう為、モデルごとに「運命」を連想させるネームが付けられており、また商品に付属するブランドタグの糸には「運命」の赤い糸を使用しています。
Designer Background 國定 豊 (くにさだ ゆたか) 大阪府堺市出身。 実家が眼鏡店ということもあり、幼少の頃から眼鏡に慣れ親しんだ彼は、某有名アイウェアショップで更に経験を積んだ後、満を持して2015年4月に1stコレクションを発表。 また、無類のヴィンテージコレクターとしても有名で多くのコレクションを所有。
