このスネアは、店長の個人的な趣味を注ぎ込んで70年代GRETSCHの名器、NAME BAND #4157の再現を目指して2020年に特注オーダーしたスペシャルな一台です！
シェルは現行のUSAカスタムをベースにしていますが、深さはGRETSCH伝統の5.5インチというのも今のカタログスペックには存在しないスペシャルなポイント♪
とてもレスポンスの良いシェルと、低音も出るし高音も出るしでモッチリしたシェルの響きとこの深さのマッチングはぜひお試し頂きたいスペックです♪
もちろん新しいシェルなので、ビンテージの音ドンズバ！という訳ではありませんが、、ソッチ系の匂いはプンプンしています^^
使い勝手の面でも、実際のビンテージGRETSCHのように場面を選ばず使い倒せるので、どこに出してもTHAT GREAT GRETSCH SOUNDを聴かせてくれるでしょう！

総評★★★★★ 
 グレッチのNAME BAND #4157と言えば、、、
1960年代～70年代頃のレジェンドJAZZドラマーを中心に、沢山の名演でそのサウンドを聴くことのできる名器です^^
アノ人もコノ人も、昔のGRETSCHドラマーの写真などを見ると、この4157がセットアップされているのをよく見かけますね^^

 ただ、実際に当時のビンテージでも、60年代頃と70年代に入ってからのシェル構成は少し違うので、同じ4157でも年式でサウンドのキャラクターも異なります。
という事で、もし現代のGRETSCHで100%まで再現したら一体どうなるんだろう。。。
 という思いだけで作ってもらったのがこのスネアです。
