About this item: - Most Take Along collectors will know already what this piece is. This Holiday Gordon was cancelled in 2008/2009 by Learning Curve along with a doppelgnger Holiday Henry. Both were intended to be 3 packs similar to the Holiday Thomas & Percy sets. Ultimately， both were cancelled， but like any “planned” release， prototypes and test shots were made by the company. Since 2010， a few finished prototypes have surfaced via backdoor sellers in China. This Gordon is in pretty decent shape considering it’s age and how often these prototypes can get banged up. This version of Gordon is already difficult to trace down being that it was never officially released， and it’s even more difficulty to find both the front and tender together; making for an exceedingly special piece when sold complete. The Holiday caboose in this set did get an official release. I sold the matching Holiday Henry (I only had the front portion) back in 2021/ early 2022.
