Tronquista Hoffa's Blues /Teamsters Holiday 45 record vintage Amazing Vinyl Very rare "mystery" R&B single about Jimmy Hoffa.This was stored and played only 1 time.Any noise you may hear is probably from the local pressing machines. This is the finest Vinyl I have ever seen on one of these.All the labels one side of these records are the same， possibly as a pressing result not from spindle wear. Very rare "mystery" R&B single. This record has been stored since the 1966 convention where it was given out at The Fountainbleu in Miami. I am the first to play it. The Vinyl Record has its original gloss. There are no scratches! It plays a strong VG+ and Better. Please listen carefully and judge for yourself. I've posted some Audio Clips fin the photos for Side and Side B.It will be safely packed and shipped. "Hoffa's blues is an odd blues made as a tribute to International Brotherhoodof Teamsters' leader (and Mafia member) Jimmy Hoffa. It was recorded in1966 for the Convention of the Truck Drivers' Union that was based in Miamithis very year and pressed only for this event. Hoffa who was very popularamong workers (and among African Americans for his stand for equal rights)was banned from AFL-CIO before being sent in jail for his Mafia'sconnections and finally probably murdered by the hired killer RichardKuklinsky in 1975! Anyway this Hoffa's blues swinging on the John Henrytune is sung by an "anonymous" excellent laid-back R&B singer who is still amystery." The A side: Hoffa's Blues - Jimmy Hoffa Tribute by the IBT in 1966. Hoffa'sblues sang by an anonymous singer on Tronquista record no. TRO-01.The B side: Teamsters Holiday is an instrumental. This record pays tribute toJimmy Hoffa， the charismatic president of the International Brotherhood ofTeamsters and a famous character in the contemporary people history of theUSA.The use of Tronquista to name the label which is the spanish word forteamster or truck driver， the anonymous singer who sings a wonderfulrhythm 'n' blues typical of the mid fifties make this record quite enigmatic. Itsmain purpose was political and part of a big fight back campaign against themedia and the accusations of an obsessed Robert Kennedy during the early1960's， who was， at the time， the attorney general of his brother JohnFitzgerald Kennedy.This record is from 1966 and first sold in July of 1966 at Miami's InternationalTeamsters Convention. They choose that place because Jimmy Hoffa wasfirst elected President of the IBT in that same Miami Auditorium back in1958.The choice of not mentioning the singer's name on one unique independentlabel Tronquista (maybe a contribution by the South American delegates ofthe IBT) confirms the non commercial purpose of this record and explains itsrarity.
