ウエリントンシェイプのコンビネーションサングラスモデルです。1960年代に流行したボリューム感のあるウエリントンシェイプは見た目とは裏腹に薄いアセテート生地のフロントにほどこされた巧みなカッティングによって奥行きが表現されておりフロントとサイドでまったく異なるイメージを表現しています。また、シェイプデザインは底辺をグッと短くしてキーホールブリッジを取り入れて一見クラシックデザインにまとめ上げていながら側面はチタンテンプルによって極度に細く仕上げることでかなり掛け心地の良いアイテムになっている点も魅力的です。

【OLIVER PEOPLES／オリバーピープルズ】 1987年創業のアメリカ・ロサンゼルスに拠点に置くアイウェアブランドです。アイウェアのブティック経営のために資料を集めていた3人の若手経営者のもとにニューヨークのアンティーク業者から届いた小包に50以上前のヴィンテージフレームが収められていたことが出会いとなりました。彼等はすぐにマンハッタンにある地下倉庫に赴くと、そこには1500セットを越える組立前の眼鏡フレームと組立工具一式が収まっていたと言われています。そこにはもう1つ、黄ばんだ1枚のオーダーシートがあり、彼らは1つの象徴的なサインを見つけました。1927年に書かれたそのサインこそ“OLIVER PEOPLES”の名称です。その名称を会社名とし、ヴィンテージというテーマをもとにラグジュアリーアイウェアブランドとして旗揚げすることに決めました。※他のキャンペーンにより、期間中に価格が変動する場合があります。
